Reader,

I’m including this more out of insecurity than anything else. I don’t like sharing art and I never will - you can’t make me. Despite this I think a public place for me to share and organize my thoughts will be a better motivation to do good stuff (yes). I resent you for reading and am very grateful for your time, you may even say that this is a twisted form of love but I would never admit it ‘cept in hushed whispers between satin sheets.

The first table I ever played at was an Adventurer’s League campaign running Princes of the Apocalypse. I showed up with a Dragonborn barbarian named Heskan Doomreach. It was 2014 and I was twelve years old, making the present me eternally grateful to the 50 and 60 year-olds I was playing with for putting up with all of my bullshit.

Aside from being a passable player and GM/DM/Ref/etc, I like to draw maps, I am vaugely leftist, and I engage in self-harm via occasional worldbuilding. I have written one (1) short story and it will never be on a website. I have run many campaigns and have even been known to finish running them at times. TTRPGs are tools for friendship and community building. In an era of increasingly individualized/isolated relationships with art, group storytelling becomes even more important (no shade to solo TTRPGs). That’s the mission statement.

If you are coming away from this text with the impression that I take my hobby (or myself) too seriously, you have read this wrong and must read again. I take my hobby (and myself) just seriously enough. Please make accurate adjustments to your perception of me as a person to account for this.
